You can encounter many kinds of wildlife, including various birds of prey, different breeds of fowl, mandarin and mallard ducks, wild boar, and deer.
It’s too bad that you can’t get a very good look at them through the chain link fences.

.
With plenty of fall flowers blooming at Gyeongsangbuk-do Forest Environment Research Institute, autumn is definitely in the air.
This is one of the best places to experience the autumnal atmosphere of Gyeongju.

It’s fun to hunt for flowering plants still in bloom, like lotus, chrysanthemumcockscomb, and cotton.

Every time I see the little zoo area with its small cages and enclosures, it bothers me. But at least it’s fun to find out about all kinds of plants.

Ginkgos fruits are still plentiful on the ginkgo trees, becoming golden and ripe.

The rice stalks growing next to the road are bowing their heads as they ripen to a golden hue.

On the ginkgo trees along the road, fruits are abundant.

Gyeongju is now speeding towards autumn.
